Creating Home Drives:

Some offices have moved to DFS to access Home drives and have had new file servers created, for the users in the Country / Company listed in the table lower follow the steps here. For other sites continue to follow the steps at https://service.thegeorgeinstitute.org/knowledgebase_articles/show/index/article_id/123

-Create a new folder on the file server exactly matching the username

-Set Permissions on the folder:
Go to ‘Advanced’ Security Settings
‘Change Owner’ to the user
Tick the boxes to propagate the permissions

NB: DO NOT set a profile path on the AD account for the below locations

NB: H drives mapped configured here will be mapped by GPO and will remain persistent.
